Are you available for in office appointments?
Yes, I see patients in my office on a regular basis. I am also available for video or phone sessions. You and I can discuss the options to figure out what is best for you.
How do I get started?

I will respond to all inquiries about my services.

If you are interested, we will arrange a time for you and I to have a brief phone conversation. If we decide to move forward, a consultation session will be scheduled during this call.

During the consultation process you will get a sense of how I approach the difficulties you face. I will get a sense of who you are and what you hope therapy will do for you.

Choosing a psychotherapist is an important decision. A good fit is important for both of us.
It may take a few sessions for you to get a sense of my professional perspective and for me to assess your emotional and mental well-being. Through the consultation process, you and I will figure out together if it makes sense to begin ongoing psychotherapy.

How frequenty do you schedule patients per week?

I see most patients once or twice a week for psychotherapy. I also work with patients at higher frequencies if it is called for.

What is psychodynamic or analytic psychotherapy?

Psychodynamic or analytic psychotherapy focuses on existing concerns effecting your current life within the context of your entire life experience. Through this process, you and I will collaborate to get to the difficulties you face in order to move beyond them.

What are your fees?

My rates are based of a sliding scale and are set during the consultation sessions. Most people pay between $200 and $300  per session.

If you have insurance I will give you a “superbill” and you can seek reimbursed by your insurance company if you would like. Some insurance companies reimburse as much as 85% of the total you pay.

Questions to ask your insurance company.

I am happy to clarify any questions you may have about getting reimbursed by your insurance company and my fees.

My empathetic and insight driven approach can help you develop the self-awareness and courage to begin to trust your thoughts and feelings, and to take the risks you have been wanting to take.
